Rich Dad Poor Dad written by one of YoungsterInc favorite author & speakers, Robert T. Kiyosaki, Rich Dad Poor Dad has changed my life in many ways.  I wished I read this book when I was a teenager.  I would have done many things differently if I knew about the concepts this book.

Here it is my fellow Youngsters, Rich Dad Poor Dad is a must read classic for any entrepreneur.  If your parents have not read it, please make sure they do.  If your parents ask you what this book is about, here is the summary:

Robert had two fathers.  His poor dad was his biological father.  He was the head of education in Hawaii, well educated, hard working with great reputation, but he always complain about not having money.   Robert’s rich dad was his best friend’s father.  He did not graduate from high school, definitely not well educated, but he owned many businesses and seemed to be having fun with money.  Robert was curious.  He wanted to understand why money made his poor dad worried while made his rich dad happy.  This is a journey of his learning from both his rich dad and his poor dad.

The poor dad way was the concept of following what everyone else tells you to do.  Get good grades, go to good school and get a good job.  The rich dad way was to create your own path, sometimes you would go with the flow, sometimes you would go against the flow.  The key is to take control of your life.  Follow the true leader (not just the prom king or prom queen), follow someone who truly have control of their life and have thought about their life.  Create businesses and invest wisely, so you don’t ever have to work because of money.  You work because you love to work.

Enjoy this book.  This is definitely a YoungsterInc must read classic.  To find out more about other YoungsterInc book recommendations, check out the YoungsterInc book page.
